Winter makes me happy. All my senses come alive.
Winter can be depressing but there is certain charm to it esp. rajai main baith ke surak surak ke chai peena...You are from Delhi too, cool. I love my Dilli [:D]
I have this love-hate relationship with the Winters....love em for the snow...misty weather....cosy razai...chai...peanuts...BUT used to hate getting up early in the morn when in school & college..
Ivan: and my fingers become numb...Ricky: I love having adrak chai with bhujiya and the sun, COSY!Mehak: Didnt we all go through that? I messed up my college attendance thanks to the dreary winter mornings. Aur madam, kya kya kiya kal? (ok...my hindi sucks!) :)
Ricky: yup, I am Delhi's 'wordly-wise' child!
kal...hmmm...sssssssshhhh..well nothing much actually...hubby was working till 8pm....just went out for dinner with friends...but have a kerala massage package lined up for him...but for that..have to wait for the weekend..
Mehak: kerala massage? kewl....lucky hubby! :)
I guess its time i must tell that I have been beaten, bruised, punched, n forced on gunpoint to leave a comment here by Marlee. Wonder if this is a case of extreme SAD or she has ran short of admirers, but it has left me in a lot of pain, in head n of course body. But I guess I wud live to c another new year as she wont be here then. ;)I wud have loved to do a hats off to Delhi Police but I wonder they are reading my pain ;-)Nyways Marlee's on leaves now, so when cat is away this mice will play.Enjoying my life,Urs PUNCHING BAG
i still dont understand the concept of "winter depression" .. guess will have to read about it :) nice blog you have here :)
winter is a time of merry makinga time of going to late night partiesi like winters bcaz htey bring back my senses
Surinder: Thanks for then visit :)Anon: Talking abt late night parties, I find waking up early on a cold dreary winter morning torturous. Which is what happened this morning :-I
NUMB : Normally, I would prefer to use the term 'bite'. The cold bites though I might have to amputate a numb finger that has caught a frostbite.Hehehehe...I feel it in my fingers, my toes, my face, my ears and my nose. I can taste the wind;Mmmm... A deep breath does wonders for the soul;Ahh...How wonderful to be alive! My eyes feel the freshness in the air. My ears perk up; sharpened senses. Therefore, I see, hear, taste, smell and feel Winter. My senses are never dulled nor numbed. ;-)But, then again, Spring,Summer and Autumn are beautiful as well.I have heard Bhutan is a land of four seasons and the 'gold and crimson of autumn' makes the thought of a sojourn irresistible.
And the best part is the men wear 'gho', a knee-length robe tied at the waist by a cloth belt known as the kera.;-)
But Japan...now, that is...;-) where you want to be.
